ibmdbR and samples should be delivered soon as part of features 554, 555, 672 in Jupyter notebooks and 605, 666 in RStudio.

This will be great. I suggest to do the same for ibmdbR in RStudio (if not done so yet) and in Python when you enable R kernels. What's the plan for R kernel support?
