OpenRefine provides an easy to use spreadsheet like interface for preparing data for analysis. While most of us are familiar with spreadsheets, we can still benefit from better understanding how to use this tool. Big Data University has recently added a free course that will teach you the basics of using OpenRefine to prepare data for analysis. This course is absolutely free and can be taken at any time and you can take however long you need to complete the course.
