  1. I need an option to copy path of my file/dataset in "My Data"

I have to concatenate "/resource/data" and "file name" every time I need to use a dataset in my notebook. It would be great if I had "Copy Path" in "My Data"

  2. Can we have terminal (or QT terminal in ipython)? That would also solve the "Add basic file/directory management" problem.

  3. Add wordcloud package on RStudio

I try to do install.packages in RStudio and it is not working. This is the error:
ERROR: compilation failed for package ‘wordcloud’

Anyway I think it would be nice to include this package pre-installed.

  5. When I drag and drop my dataset into Jupyter, it does not go to "My Data" folder

When I drag and drop a dataset (e.g. .csv file) into Jupyter, it goes into /resource/ folder, and not into /resource/data/ folder. So, I cannot see my dataset in "My Data"

  8. I want to be able to "Auto Update" and also have "Update Notifications" on my preferences

    There are 2 scenarios:
    1) I don't want to wait for updating every time that an update is available. So, it would be nice to have an option for "Auto Update". So, my DSWB get updated automatically once there is a new update, so I don't have to click on "Update Workbench" every time.

    2) I don't want my DSWB to get updated automatically. I also want to skip the update message that is shown when I open my DSWB. But, I need an "Update Notification" somewhere to show me that there is an update available, so I can click…

  9. Equivalent of screen command in bash

Maybe there is a way to do that and I didn't find it but an option that allows the user to detach and re attach to a running script would be welcome.
I would love to be able to disconnect while a long script is running during he night and access it agin in the morning.

  12. Hide workspace.json from Recent Data

    Hide workspace.json

workspace.json is a file that sometimes shows up in Recent Data. It's an internal application data file that's confusing to me as an end user.

Recent Data should never show workspace.json

  15. Integrated Python Module Intellisense

As a user of the CC Labs interface to self-edify on topics with Python, I would like to view integrated Python module documentation while traversing Notebooks including mouse-over summaries with option to click module methods that opens a new tab with the Python module docs. In short, integrated Python intellisense.

  17. fixes in Zeppelin Notebook for Python Tutorial

I believe there are typos in the Python Tutorial notebook where it says "zeppline" instead of zeppelin. Also the link for More Info in the 2nd cell doesn't work.

  19. Update Lab 1 Values

    Re: BD0211EN - Lab 1
Currently the path to the working directory is written as
    /resources/jupyter/labs/BD0211EN
    the correct path is
    /resources/jupyterlab/labs/BD0211EN

Also, the ReadMe.md file I extracted contains 98 lines and thus readme.count() returns 98. The notebook says it should be 103.

  20. I sould be able to access the cognitive class files from seahorse

I just doing the Data Science Hands-On lab and it is not possible to the give data sample with is provided in the videos.
Because the download over http does not work or the server does not allow the download.

I was wondering why can I not just upload a own file to cognitive and us this file directly inside seahorse?

I did something wrong or is the an enhancement?
