Allow direct linking to an existing notebook
A good enhancement would be to allow direct linking to an existing notebook. Instead of automatically creating a duplicate, with a suffix, why not just open the existing notebook.

Don't force that lab if it's not working
I am trying to make a coursera path (called data science professional path) but I spend too much time with these labs because it is not working properly. Yesterday i spent about 30 minutes until I was finally able to download the file. (I don't even try to solve in the online page because of the so much bad experience) The course material is great, these labs are awesome, it would be so much easier if you would attach these labs file to the Coursera.
If labs.cognitiveclass.ai is not slow then it's down.7 votes -
Unable to Access Labs for Full Stack Application Development Capstone Project
It has said "We are experiencing a temporary issue" every time I try to load the lab for the past 3 days now, please give an ETA for how long it will be down for. I am unable to log into the SN labs.

I should be able to import the datasets in /my-data/ directly into a tool I want to use
In the /my-data/ page, when I click on a dataset like "medals.csv", I'd like to see a popup menu asking menu which tool I want to use it with (OpenRefine/RStudio/Zeppelin/Jupyter). Whichever I choose, it should automatically open a notebook with the correct import command. E.g., it show create a new notebook containing
import pandas as pd

improve response times
I've been INCORRECTLY banned 10 days ago. I've tried several times to contact you for the removal of the ban and I'm still waiting.
10 days without studying is compromising my due dates and jeopardizing my course.
So my suggestion is that you improve response times for this kinds of problems. I'm stuck here and can't advance any further.6 votes -
Getting started with the Workbench
I think you should lead visitors to your site through a recommended path: What should they do first and second? Can they pick some in preference to some others and still learn what they want to learn? How much of prerequisite knowledge should they have? Hold my hands and take me in, instead of expecting me to poke here and there.

Went thru training this week where we used scala to operate on the Washington crime labs data.
sc.textFile("dbfs:/mnt/training-write/essentials/pagecounts/staging/")
have already moved my code just need to the data to the data bricks labs on DSW

Allow folder synchronization with Google Drive
It would be great if we could selectively sychronize folders with google drive / dropbox as it would allow us to automatically backup the code as well as the data. In addition it would be possible to synchronize these with local devices which in turn can allow us to work on the code in local machines which are running in areas with poor internet connectivity.

Display usage info within the My Data section
The "My Data" section should show how much disk space is being used, versus the available quota. Both in absolute terms and as a percentage.

I need an option to copy path of my file/dataset in "My Data"
I have to concatenate "/resource/data" and "file name" every time I need to use a dataset in my notebook. It would be great if I had "Copy Path" in "My Data"

Fix Connectivity Issues
I understand the convenience of these tools being cloud-based, but they continually have connectivity issues or lag. There are massive disruptions and it's a huge hassle or it's very frustrating to lose work. The quality of the course suffers.

Enable iOS/iPad hardware keyboard in editing
Hardware keyboard is not fully supported in iOS environment.
Coding in iPad with a Bluetooth hardware keyboard is painful, as arrow keys do not work in editing.It would be great if cursor keys in an external hardware keyboard are supported in RStudio IDE, Jupyter, etc.
